Andrew came in with a good bid, even though it was not the lowest one, and we went with him because our architect had worked with him before. This was also an indication that Andrew was not willing to compromise on the quality of the renovation we wanted. We were willing to pay extra for the skillful craftsmanship we desired and he was able to deliver.”

Although we warned Andrew that our building management team would not be very helpful, he still took on the job and used tremendous skill in not only renovating our apartment completely, but handling the on site management representatives as well, saving me from many confrontations that would have driven me crazy. This was certainly above and beyond Andrew’s job description, and I was very grateful for his years of experience in dealing with building staff members.

Andrew also finished the job on budget–aside from the extras we had to pay for asbestos removal and other unplanned building problems–which we didn’t expect him to cover. The subcontractors he works with are all excellent. In fact, I have continued to call on his electricians and plumbers if we need to handle any issues on our own that our building doesn’t cover.

The only problem we encountered with Andrew throughout the months of our renovation was actually a sign of his loyalty. One of the subcontractors he has worked with for years was having serious personal and professional problems and had trouble finishing his work. Andrew let me deal directly with the subcontractor so we could plan the order in which we needed his work finished together.

Andrew is very professional and thorough. His standards are exacting and his willingness to handle unforeseen problems along the way was masterful. My husband and I are thrilled with the beautiful renovation Andrew provided.”
